Chief High Priest: His Own Story of the Crucifixion
There were thousands of records preserved by the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem. We should have expected a long time ago that many of them would surface in our day and add substantially to the events surrounding the life of Jesus. In this particular case the Chief High Priest at the time of the crucifixion of Jesus writes a summary of his reasons for participating in the crucifixion. A few days later his attitude changes when he has a chance to verify for himself the resurrection of Jesus.
These kinds of documents have been in private and educational libraries for centuries, as well as copies were preserved in the Vatican and in the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. Beneath the old church in Istanbul is a great library. The Jesus College at Oxford and the extension to the Vatican library in Canada have such manuscripts as well. This is not the story of conversion to Christianity of one of the most infamous Jews in history, but rather is his own story of epiphany.
There today who suggest that the lack of documents surrounding the life of Jesus is evidence that He may never have existed at all. The reality of the discovery of these kinds of manuscripts suggests something more akin to a cover up; a conspiracy to erase the history of Jesus from the earth.
