Dauters of Cleopatra
We are all aware of the son Cleopatra bore Julius Caesar. However, almost no one has ever heard about the rest of her children and the impact they had on history. The children took the abuse from Octavian that was intended for their mother and were paraded through the streets of Rome in chains.
Her sons were eventually killed, but Cleopatra's two daughters were married off to kings and played an enormous role in history just as Jesus was being born into the world. The influence of these two girls remains with us today deeply embedded in the politics of the Middle East. Their influence is also felt shadowing Christianity.
