Dead Sea Scrolls
The Dead Sea Scrolls were not just a copy of the Old Testament. Up until their discovery there were no ancient copies. These are the oldest by over a thousand years. The implications of who wrote these, where and when is a story all to itself. The Septuagint is no longer the oldest copy of the Old Testament Scriptures. It also opens the door to those who believed east of the River Jordan. The implications of how the Old Testament was buried in the deserts of Qumran is filled with intrigue and mystery.
