The Dead Sea Scrolls were not just a copy of the Old Testament. Up until their discovery there were no ancient copies. These are the oldest by over a thousand years. The implications of who wrote these, where and when is a story all to itself. The Septuagint is no longer the oldest copy of the Old Testament Scriptures.
