Josephus
The Works of Josephus Complete and Unabridged. Josephus was the most famous historian of the Jews during the life of Christ. Though his history is impeccable, his character is not. He betrayed his people and wrote his apologies of Roman history of the Jews as the adopted son of Caesar in Rome. Josephus mentions Christ in a few places, however a full description of Christ during his day, especially written at the table of the Ceasars was tantamount to a death sentence in the coliseum. Josephus mentions abundantly all the other characters in the life of Christ, with the exception of Jesus himself. No collection regarding the history of Jesus and his times is complete with the complete works of Josephus.
